What kind of workspace does WorkLounge offer?
WorkLounge provides private serviced offices for individuals, small teams and growing businesses. Your business has its own secure office rather than a desk on an open coworking floor.
Where are WorkLounge offices located?
WorkLounge has two locations: The Foundry at 1 Beehive Lane, Loughborough, LE11 2FJ and Eaglestar House at 11 Friar Lane, Leicester, LE1 5RB.
How do I register interest in an office?
Email WorkLounge with your preferred location, team size, ideal move-in timing and any must-haves. We will use that information to advise on the best next step.
What is included in the monthly price?
The monthly price includes the private office, business rates, utilities and core bills, superfast broadband, communal cleaning, building maintenance and access to shared facilities. Published prices include VAT.
Are the offices furnished?
No. WorkLounge private offices are supplied unfurnished, giving you control over the desks, chairs, storage and layout you choose for your business.
Is there a minimum term?
Yes. The minimum office term is six months.
What is the notice period?
The standard notice period is one month, subject to the terms of your office agreement.
Do the prices include VAT?
Yes. Published WorkLounge office prices include VAT. Business rates, utilities and core building bills are also included in the rent charge.
Can I access my office outside normal working hours?
Yes. Both locations offer 24/7 coded access. Members receive secure access details for the building and their office area.
Are meeting rooms available?
There are no dedicated meeting rooms at either location. Communal lounge and breakout spaces can be used considerately for informal meetings, while confidential or longer meetings should be held inside your private office.
Can clients visit my office?
Yes. Clients and professional visitors are welcome. Members should meet their visitors, remain responsible for them while they are in the building and never share secure access codes.
Can I use the address for my business?
Yes. Business and registered address use is available as part of the office arrangement, subject to the terms of your agreement.
Is there a reception?
Eaglestar House has a staffed reception. The Foundry does not have a staffed reception.
Is gym access included?
Gym access is available to office members at Eaglestar House. The Foundry does not have an on-site gym.
Is parking available?
The Foundry has public parking directly opposite at Beehive Lane multi-storey. Eaglestar House has paid on-street parking nearby, with Upper Brown Street useful for shorter visits and Newarke Street multi-storey a larger option for longer stays.
